His dad died when Matt was 11. His second father drowned when Matt was 17. At 19, he spent the night in jail. At 20, he lost his love for the game.  At 22, he’s the best shooter in the Big 12. “There are so many things that could have broken him,” his mother said.
But they didn’t. Matt Thomas remains unbroken.
